Featuring the duo of Naomi Sommers and Rick Manning, this event will include a concert, and a dance with caller.

This will be an all-day event celebrating the history of the legendary Bound For Glory live concert/radio show hosted for so many years by Phil Shapiro at Cornell’s Anabel Taylor Hall. The concert will feature many performers who were past guests on the show - a celebration of Phil Shapiro’s work and legacy in the Ithaca music scene. I was honored to have appeared at Bound for Glory about 7 years ago when I first moved to Ithaca - and to be invited to perform at this event.

Gray Sky Girls reunite again - for the first time in Ithaca! We will harmonize and play some of our favorite “slow-grass” songs from the archives, as well as many new original songs in our solo sets. This will be an intimate and fun night!

Naomi is featured on WSKG’s porch twice - a duo set with Rick Manning at noon, and a solo set at 3 pm.

Featuring Phil Rosenthal (my dad) on banjo, guitar, mandolin, and Daniel Rosenthal (my brother) on trumpet. Original and traditional folk/bluegrass songs outdoors at our hometown library on the green in Guilford, CT! This has become an annual tradition and we love playing here so much. Our family band has played at the Guilford Free Library since I was in high school!

Very special Gray Sky Girls Reunion (old-time-slow-grass is back!)- Naomi and Lisa will play songs from their Gray Sky Girls repetoire all night! The two songwriters will also each play original songs and accompany one another on harmony vocals, guitar, banjo and mandolin.

I will be playing a solo set on the porch at 106 Second Street, in Ithaca, NY. Walk by and say hi!

Naomi returns to the place where her solo singer-songwriter career had its start, the heart of Boston's folk music scene, Club Passim in Harvard Square. She will sing in the round with Lisa Bastoni (Naomi's partner in the old-time-slow-grass duo Gray Sky Girls), Jackie Giroux, and Hayley Sabella.
